תְּהִלִּים

א  לַמְנַצֵּחַ אֶל-הַנְּחִילוֹת,    מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד.

ב  אֲמָרַי הַאֲזִינָה יְהוָה;    בִּינָה הֲגִיגִי.

ג  הַקְשִׁיבָה, לְקוֹל שַׁוְעִי--מַלְכִּי וֵאלֹהָי:    כִּי-אֵלֶיךָ, אֶתְפַּלָּל.

ד  יְהוָה--בֹּקֶר, תִּשְׁמַע קוֹלִי;    בֹּקֶר אֶעֱרָךְ-לְךָ, וַאֲצַפֶּה.

ה  כִּי, לֹא אֵל חָפֵץ רֶשַׁע אָתָּה:    לֹא יְגֻרְךָ רָע.

ו  לֹא-יִתְיַצְּבוּ הוֹלְלִים, לְנֶגֶד עֵינֶיךָ;    שָׂנֵאתָ, כָּל-פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן.

ז  תְּאַבֵּד, דֹּבְרֵי כָזָב:    אִישׁ-דָּמִים וּמִרְמָה, יְתָעֵב יְהוָה.

ח  וַאֲנִי--בְּרֹב חַסְדְּךָ, אָבוֹא בֵיתֶךָ;    אֶשְׁתַּחֲוֶה אֶל-הֵיכַל-קָדְשְׁךָ, בְּיִרְאָתֶךָ.

ט  יְהוָה, נְחֵנִי בְצִדְקָתֶךָ--לְמַעַן שׁוֹרְרָי;    הושר (הַיְשַׁר) לְפָנַי דַּרְכֶּךָ.

י  כִּי אֵין בְּפִיהוּ, נְכוֹנָה--קִרְבָּם הַוּוֹת:    קֶבֶר-פָּתוּחַ גְּרֹנָם; לְשׁוֹנָם, יַחֲלִיקוּן.

יא  הַאֲשִׁימֵם, אֱלֹהִים--    יִפְּלוּ, מִמֹּעֲצוֹתֵיהֶם:
בְּרֹב פִּשְׁעֵיהֶם, הַדִּיחֵמוֹ--    כִּי-מָרוּ בָךְ.

יב  וְיִשְׂמְחוּ כָל-חוֹסֵי בָךְ, לְעוֹלָם יְרַנֵּנוּ--    וְתָסֵךְ עָלֵימוֹ;
וְיַעְלְצוּ בְךָ,    אֹהֲבֵי שְׁמֶךָ.

יג  כִּי-אַתָּה, תְּבָרֵךְ צַדִּיק:    יְהוָה--כַּצִּנָּה, רָצוֹן תַּעְטְרֶנּוּ.

Psalms Chapter 91

1 O thou that dwellest in the covert of the Most High, and abidest in the shadow of the Almighty;

2 I will say of the LORD, who is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust,

3 That He will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He will cover thee with His pinions, and under His wings shalt thou take refuge; His truth is a shield and a buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Of the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor of the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; it shall not come nigh thee.

9 For thou hast made the LORD who is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and asp; the young lion and the serpent shalt thou trample under feet.

14 'Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known My name.

15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him, and bring him to honour.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and make him to behold My salvation.'

Ecclesiastes Chapter 11:10

Therefore remove vexation from thy heart,
and put away evil from thy flesh;
for childhood and youth are vanity.

「あなたの心から悩みを去り、あなたのからだから痛みを除け。
若い時と盛んな時はともに空だからである。 」

これは昔から意味がわからなかった。
今日、「サンフランシスコ・シネマライフ」というブログで37才で脳卒中で左脳の機能を失った
テイラー博士の記事を見た。

「反面、頭の中で常に回っていた思考の扇風機が止まり、
完全なる静寂が訪れた。

自分を囲む環境が生き生きと鮮烈に感じられ、
平和な宇宙との一体感が身体を包み、
それまで体験したことのない幸福感を味わったというのだ。

その後、彼女は手術をして左脳機能を取り戻し、
別人として生まれ変わる過程を経験する。
その時、彼女は意識的な選択をした。
きれいになった左脳にゴミ即ち否定的な記憶を溜め込まないと決めた、と言うのだ。なぜかと言えば、失望や怒り、悲しみの感情は身体的に痛かったから。痛みを溜めても良いことは何もない、と明快に言う。

左脳の機能は線的で、常に物事を観察し、
安全か否か、有益か否かなどの情報を整理判断を不断に
繰り返している。これが否定的な声の大本だ。
だが、意識的になれば、左脳で何を考え、
何を残していくかを選択できる。
誰にも今すぐできることだと言い切るのだ。」

心から悩みを取り去ることは今すぐできることらしい。
